The best X-Box case/bag around |
I have been looking for a decent case for a while now. As my wife is always moaning about leaving the console lying around in front of the T.V.I have to many consoles to have them all near the T.V.!!! So I set about looking for a case to keep it organised. This is the best I have found. It has plenty of of space in the front opening/pouch call it what you will for 2 controllers.....the leads....and the DVD controller if you have one. Inside there is room for 16 discs and their instrucion manuals also inside. The bet bit for me though is.......when the front is unzipped.....it hinges up so that the X-Box is left inside. There is an opening at the rear of the case so that the leads can be plugged into the mains and the T.V. and also vents in the sideso the fan(s) can keep the air circulating. So it can be played while still in the case...........making life so much easier. Basically if you are looking for a case for your "BLACK BEAST" this is the ONLY one to get!!!!!!!!

An good all round strategy and action mix |
As far as X-Com titles go this certaintly isnt the best, but that doesnt mean rule it out. It has all the trademarks of the x-com series that has made the series do popular, it has an indepth alien research section, a great resource managment system and perhaps most importantly an action section. The base managment is spot on, with the ability to control all of your base maintence and personnel managment with relative ease, this part of the game is up to the standard of the other x-coms. Only the research lets down the strategy part of the game down, it isnt as involving as it could have been, it just doesnt grip you the way x-com Apocalypses system did. My only other gripe is the action element of the game, altought it is great fun to play, it soon gets tedious with the same missions repeating over and other again. An example of this is the intercepting of alien squadrons, this happens frequently and is simply blowing up alien sqaudrons over and over again. However dont let this put you off what truely is an involving game that fans of the X-com series shouldnt overlook, people who are new to X-com though may want to try X-com Apocalypse first.

Great...for its time. |

A ground-breaking racing simulation when it first appeared, NASCAR Racing is still worth buying if you only have a low-spec PC (P90 or lower). Otherwise go for the updated versions with 3d support and better AI - preferably NASCAR 3 (if you have a P2 or above) which has the fantastic Indy track within it.
